Gratitude Day 4

Today I'm grateful for the gospel! It truly helps me in my everyday life and without it I don't know where I would be!! Each day seems to bring a new blessing! I thank the Lord that He restored the Gospel to the earth.

November Gratitude

It is November again and almost a full year since I last posted. Because I feel much more grateful in November I am going to try to post things that I am grateful for every day! Of course it is November 3rd when I am starting this so I will post three things today!

First of all I am grateful to my DH, one of the best men I know in the whole world. He is kind, considerate, compassionate and supportive. He has put up with me in good times and bad (Honestly, I feel that he has put up with the bad much more than the good and much more than he should have had too!). I love him and will always be grateful to him for picking me!!!

Secondly, I am grateful for my children all 6 of them! They are smart, wonderful, and good kids. Thank you for sticking with me Heather, Holly, Chalese, Kirsten, Miranda and Braedon. I will always love you!

Thirdly, I am grateful for my parents. My dad has always been there for us and supported us in all that we have ever wanted to do! My mom has taught us to be loving, upright citizens of the world. I will be ever grateful for them and all that they have taught me.

Thanksgiving!

It's been way too long since I've posted anything but I decided it was way past time. I wanted to write a few things that I'm thankful for. This is going to be in no particular order and I really hope that I don't forget anything!

First of all I'm grateful for my Father in Heaven and all the blessings He gives me daily! I never remember to thank Him enough! Without my Heavenly Father all the other things that I'm thankful for would not be worthwhile.
Second, I'm extremely grateful for my dear husband! I'm grateful he puts up with me, and loves me in spite of all my faults. He is one of the best men I know, he leads our family with love and strength and without him I would be lost!
Third I'm grateful for my family all my dear children who love me and I love them as well! We may not always get along but life just wouldn't be worth living without them.
Fourth, I'm grateful for the Gospel and the happiness it brings into my life!

That's it for today! I hope to post more items tomorrow, so stay tuned!

I Love Loud Boys!!

Today's lesson was on the talk given by Elder Choi entitled "I Love Loud Boys. The question on the board was "Who loved you when you were inactive, shy, quiet? I immediately thought of a much beloved sister who I know never realized that she touched my life in quite such a way. She was a person of my youth, a leader and an example! So this is for Sis. Nora B. Stephens, thank you for the love that you showed me. The example of kindness. Thank you for the blessing that you were in my life!!

My New Blog

I have another blog that I started to show my cross-stitch accomplishments (or lack thereof), but in reading more and more blogs and seeing all the great ones out there I felt the need to start another one. This one will be for the things that I don't want to share with the wonderful stitch sisters that I have. This one will be more for my "other life." The life I have when I'm not stitching. I don't want to offend the great people on my other blog but I want to have a blog that shares who I am.
In doing so I guess I need to clarify to myself just exactly who I am. I am a deeply religious person. One who knows that our Heavenly Father listens and answers prayers. One who knows that I go to Church for a reason. One who knows that Jesus gave His life for us.
I don't have many followers as of yet on my other blog and probably won't have very many on this one but I felt strongly that I needed to do this. So join me on my journey through my crazy life as a mother of 6.

Thanks,

Elena
